Jodoshu Buddhist Brisbane

Welcome

WELCOME  I am Rev James Wilson ( Tetsuyu ).

I am the resident priest of Amida-ji, a Jodoshu temple in Brisbane. Jodoshu (http://jodo.or.jp/ ) is

one of the traditional Buddhist sects of Japan.

Our most well known temples are Chionin in Kyoto and Zojyoji in Tokyo. I trained to become a priest in Japan and have been appointed by Jodoshu to propagate Buddhism in my home country of Australia. At present I use my home as a temple to carry out my activities.
